Where do I start?
If you are thinking about renovating or extending your home, we recommend getting in touch with us as your first point of contact. We can work with you to bring your vision to reality by providing tips and ideas, realistic budget estimates and knowledge of what is required regarding consents and plans. What if I already have plans drawn up?
We are very experienced in pricing and building from pre-existing plans and are more than happy to do so.
Will I need a consent?
Work that will …ious non-compliant work that needs to be altered. If this does happen, we will endeavour to find a budget-friendly solution and won’t complete any extra work until this is mutually agreed upon. We recommend having a 10% contingency in your budget in case we run into unexpected costs.
Can I live in my house during the project?
This will depend on the renovation you are undertaking. For projects that will not affect the majority of the house, such as adding an extension, then you are able to live in the house during the renovation. For larger works, such as altering kitchens or bathrooms, it may not be comfortable or feasible to stay in the house while the work is being completed, and safety also needs to be considered. Depending on your circumstances and requirements, we may be able to plan your project in stages, which means the house remains liveable while we complete the works.
