Frequently Asked Questions
Start by working with your bank to ascertain the budget you will be able to work with. This will allow you to start looking for a section to buy. Once you have secured a section, get in touch with us. We will walk you through the next steps of the process and help you design a home to fit your needs, want and budget.
Yes, you will need an architect, and we are more than happy to help with that! We have architects that we regularly work with, who we know and trust. The benefit of using our preferred architects is it allows us to ensure plans are kept to within a budget. Some clients have found that working with an architect prior to getting in touch with your builder, can result in plans being over budget and unrealistic when they come to be priced. If you do have your own preferred architect you would like to use, we are certainly able to accommodate this. Already have plans drawn up? No problem! We are very experienced in pricing and building from existing plans.
Many factors will affect the final cost of the build. This includes site conditions, the size of the home and the level of specification. We will work with you to guide you in designing a home that meets both your budget and needs.
For most standard (flat section) new builds, your build should take around 25-35 weeks. This can vary depending on the size and complexity of your home. Hill sites can take a little longer to build, up to 35-45 weeks. These time frames are guidelines and could be subject to change due to circumstances outside of our control. We will always endeavour to keep clear, open lines of communication with you regarding timelines and any delays that may arise.
